Project Overview

The City of Melton is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Australia, with in excess of 220,000 residents.

From February 2018 to October 2019, 90 Degrees Digital completed five distinct projects for the City of Melton, spanning social media research and insights, promoting a new phone app, promoting a jobs event for Melton youth, defining a marketing strategy for the Hothouse Project, and delivering a videography project for their Youth Service Department.

Scope of Work

  • Social media primary research & strategy evaluation – including analysing the social media footprint of Wyndham City Council, Hume City Council and Whittlesea
  • Melton Much More App promotion/downloads campaign – offline & digital campaign across radio, email, Facebook & Instagram that drove over 2000 cost effective downloads of the MMM App (iOS/Android) within 3 months. 
  • Jobs Market event promotion – alongside the City of Melton & Lendlease, ran an offline & digital campaign across radio, Facebook and Snapchat to promote the first Jobs Market event in Melton. The campaign and event were a great success.
  • Hothouse Project – Marketing Strategy – created a marketing strategy for the Hothouse Project.
  • Videography – created 6 x 1 minute videos for the City of Melton’s Youth Services department

Final Result

90 Degrees Digital was a finalist in the City of Melton Business Excellence Awards in 2017 and 2018.
